Social responsibility

VVO was established in 1969 during a period of great migration, to provide rental housing to the new workforce moving into the towns and cities. Since then, the company´s basic task has remained the same: to create for its clients the possibility to achieve safe, good and long-term residence in rental accommodation at different stages of their lives.

VVO´s operating principles are sustainable and its operations transparent. Operations seek to provide basic social services which create a natural starting point for good corporate citizenship. Active dialogue with the authorities and other organisations in the industry is a key part of the company´s work and development. The company participates in social discussion and the development of the housing industry, and so is involved in influencing housing policy solutions.
